A Basic Introduction to Acupuncture Therapy

Alternative Medicine is comprised of many different healing modalities. Quantum-Touch teaches simple & effective techniques to accelerate healing. We do this mainly through learning to amplify, focus & direct life-force energy. Another modality that uses life-force energy is Acupuncture Therapy.
Acupuncture therapy is a holistic healing modality discovered by the Ancient Chinese 5,000 years ago that treats patients by manipulating think, solid needles which are inserted into acupuncture points on the surface of the body. The clients do not experience any pain during the process; though two peoples experiences may vary. These points when stimulated with solid needles, cause a cascade of reactions in the nervous system which in turn releases the disturbed life-force energy”chi. There are more than one hundred acupuncture points on the human body and they are located along the meridians”also called the "pathways" for flow of chi.
Acupuncture therapy is one of the most common-known alternative healing modalities through-out the world. Similar to all alternative forms of healing, many people label it pseudoscience and are reluctant to go to an acupuncturist. Similar to Quantum-Touch, many people turn to exploring acupuncture when doctors label their problem as incurable.
Fortunately, the level of awareness about alternative healing modalities is rapidly growing around the world. People are beginning to believe that all suffering is the absence from our natural state of love. This absence causes the energetic flow to go from harmony, to that of anger, hatred and separation which results in the disruption in body's energy system.
Acupuncture therapy is considered a holistic healing methodology because it deals with the cause”imbalanced energy. When the cause is corrected the body intelligence and symptoms resolve themselves. Our body is intelligent, dynamic and complex and knows how to heal, provided the free flow of energy. A number of studies show acupuncture therapy is useful in treating cancer, arthritis, asthma, depression, anxiety, migraine, diabetes mellitus, cardiac attack, stroke as well as other conditions.
How it works scientifically?
Further research on Acupuncture therapy suggests the theory behind its methodology is the suppression of C-fibers. C-fibers are a group of micro nerves at specific acupuncture points. These fibers play an important role in transmitting the bodys painful responses to brain. By manipulating these fibers with solid needles, we break their pattern and they are not able to convey the bodys painful messages to the brain. Hence, a client feels free of pain. In addition to relieving pain, acupuncture also helps the body secret different hormones and neurotransmitters which are necessary for our well-being.
How it affects our physiology?
Studies have shown that acupuncture affects the biochemistry of our body in a positive way. It strengthens the immune system, increases circulation and releases more endorphins and serotonin (neurotransmitter) from the pineal gland in our brain, which stabilizes our mood, improves our memory, relieves pain and enhances our overall sense of wellness.
Acupuncture also releases the emotional energetic blocks in our body that hold us back from achieving financial abundance, satisfying relationships and sustaining a healthy body. Thus, it may also be used for law of attraction purpose as well.
Acupuncture brings us back to ourselves. In other words, we come back to the state of love, joy and happiness. With acupuncture, physically, we gain health, vitality and energy; mentally, we find ourselves with increased IQ, improved memory and creative ideas; emotionally, we begin to live a life of fulfillment and abundance and spirituality, we reconnect with Divine and experience Divinity.
