Can Consciousness Affect Matter?

Let’s be honest…

With everything going on in the world right now, it's super easy to forget how much power we have over our lives. Sometimes our hopes and dreams feel way out of reach, especially when we're just struggling to get by...

But is this really true? Are we merely just victims of fate? Or is there more to the story?

Many of us have heard of the Law of Attraction, which suggests (in theory!) that we have the ability to manifest whatever we want in life. The teachings of Abraham-Hicks, the original source material for the Law of Attraction, suggest:

• You are a physical extension of that which is non-physical.
• You are a creator; you create with your every thought.
• Anything that you can imagine is yours to be or do or have.
• As you are choosing Your thoughts, your emotions are guiding you.
• The universe adores you for it knows your broadest intentions.

This means that according to the Law of Attraction, we are powerful co-creators of our experience.

Our energy is that powerful!

Yes, really!

Initially you may have come to Quantum-Touch to learn how to heal yourself or help others. But Quantum-Touch also opens the door to the world of infinite possibilities, where different rules apply because energy healing is based on the premise that consciousness affects matter.

At Quantum-Touch we enjoy exploring ways to demonstrate how energy affects matter. Why? Because our mind is eager for measurable, touchable, and hard evidence that "energy" has real world effects.

Turning Wine Into Water?

For example, in the Level 1 workshop, we show how running energy into wine or juice can actually change the taste! Many people have reported that running energy into wine actually makes it taste more like water. (This has not made us very popular at parties!)

Spoon Bending

Recently, one of our Quantum-Touch Instructors, Dr. Judit Povall, used spoon bending as another way to demonstrate the impact of consciousness on matter. Spoon bending is the process of using focused energy to bend metal. As you can see from the picture, those spoons are really bent out of shape.

Still Feeling Skeptical?

Now, if you're feeling skeptical, you're not alone! Dr. Judit Povall describes herself as the "biggest skeptic to ever attend an Energy Healing course." With a solid grounding in science and a Chemistry PhD, she is the antithesis of a person who sits on the clouds and has conversations with fairies.

My mind is scientific, eager to see proper evidence and refuses to believe in anything just because someone, however wise or well-known, says so. But I love experimenting and I am always open to new adventures. I have wanted to help people regain their well-being and health since I was a child. I just needed to find the right method for me. It wasn’t easy. I wanted no beliefs. I wanted no hocus-pocus. I wanted no hard-earned secrets. I wanted no rules. So, when I went to a Quantum-Touch workshop in 2007, there were two possibilities:
