A Case Study in Focus and Productivity
There is something interesting about what happens when someone seeks help with one specific problem and discovers solutions they never expected. Years ago, I worked with a successful entrepreneur in Ottawa who came to me with a clear objective: he needed better focus and improved productivity. We conducted three Quantum-Touch sessions—all at a distance, him in his home and me in mine—and what unfolded was remarkable.
The First Session: Unexpected Awakening
After our first session, he contacted me the next morning, surprised. He had woken at 4:30 AM, completely alert, with no desire to return to sleep. His body was signaling something new: it was ready to work. The following morning, the same thing happened at 5:30 AM. He was puzzled. He woke extremely alert and did not know how to handle this new situation—so he read, occupied himself with something, because he felt extremely active and ready to produce.
But there was more. When he went shopping that day, he experienced an atypical level of attention. He was simply alert to everything around him and, at the same time, had a particular focus. He shared this experience with genuine surprise and enthusiasm.
The Second Session: Positive Momentum
After our second session, more unexpected things happened.
He told me that for over a year he had been procrastinating about buying a bicycle. But the day after our session, something shifted. Without planning, without internal debate, he rented a bicycle and spent hours riding through Ottawa's parks. He described it as "a positive impulse" that moved him to action without giving his mind space to sabotage the decision.
Then he mentioned something else: he felt an urgent desire to eat good food. He lives alone, does not cook, lives downtown with easy access to fast food, but suddenly he wanted quality, healthy meals. When he asked me if this desire for good food had anything to do with productivity, I responded honestly. "All serious productivity experts today emphasize the importance of eating well to maximize productivity," I said. "Yes, your desire to eat better is directly connected to productivity. You are cutting the problem at its root."
The Third Session: Breaking Free from Anxiety
After our third session, something remarkable happened again.
This man considers himself anxious — someone who lives with his phone in hand, sending messages constantly. But after the third session, he told me something simple but profound happened. Starting that very night, he simply abandoned the need to have his phone beside him in bed. He had been sleeping with it and waking with it, but after the session, he no longer needed it nearby at night.
"This is something new you have gained," I told him. "Now you will have more time, no longer trapped by notifications. This will contribute directly to the focus and productivity you were seeking." He agreed and said he felt more concentrated, focused, and less anxious.
The Pattern Behind the Results
This case shows something important about how energy work operates. The client seeks sessions with certain expectations, and the results present themselves in interesting, creative, almost indirect ways. Other aspects that are not mentioned by the practitioner during a session may also be affected.
In this client's case, his anxiety decreased to the point where he was no longer attached to his phone.
Now imagine if he knew Quantum-Touch techniques. He would not need to depend on a practitioner. He would have autonomy and could help his family, his friends, the people closest to him.
