Energize Your Finances and Watch Your Recourses Grow!

Recently some of my friends and clients expressed their worry to me about money and personal finances. This got me thinking about the shift from an agricultural society to an industrial and now computer age. Times are constantly evolving, for better or worse, but the image of the farmer and his hoe is prominent in my mind. Though these days, we may be sitting behind a computer screen and even calculating our money this way, the concept of planting and tilling the soil has not changed.

We seem to live in an instant world with instant results, where we can interact with someone continents away in real time, live, so we often expect these same results in other areas of our lives. But just like the farmer prepares the earth, plants a seed and follows the seasons for the right time to harvest and pick the fruit of his labor, same too with the work in our lives, no matter what industry we find ourselves in.

Patience is key, and quit too soon, or try to rush the process, and nobody eats—but if you wait for the right time, you have a festival to celebrate with a grand feast. Natural rhythm is key, and though at times you may feel isolated from the land beneath your feet, it’s important to remember that you are part of nature, and when uncertain, listen to your own heartbeat, an echo of Mother Earth.

It’s no coincidence that labor and work is part of the first (root) chakra, the same as home, security, earth, red soil. When feeling stuck, it may be fun to bring this concept of the farmer to mind. What earth are you clearing and tilling? What are you planting? Are you allowing it to naturally grow? What does it need to be fed with—what does the sun and rain represent?

A few months ago, some of the Quantum-Touch Practitioners were recording experiments they were posting on the Quantum-Touch YouTube page where they put the same type of plant in two separate jars and for about a month ran energy into just one jar with very surprising results. The plants receiving the energy had greater longevity than the ones that were not. The plants that did not receive energy decomposed more quickly. I bring this up now, since it might be fun to try something similar with your work projects and financial goals.

Here’s What I Suggest:

1. Begin by clearing and charging up your root chakra with Quantum-Touch or other intentional techniques that you know. You can simply breath and feel yourself filling up this area of your body with light and love. Anything uncomfortable that comes up, don’t isolate it, but allow it to play too and be part of the experience. Remember, the earth is dark and unknown—allow yourself to burrow deep into the soil of self.

2. Write down areas of your business or personal finances that you’d like to grow and place each item in its own jar. For example, “Lots of clients” in one jar, “fantastic website” in another, etc. 

3. Every day for a month, start by charging yourself up, and then send energy to each jar.

4. After sending energy to each jar, take at least one small manageable action on at least one project.

5. Repeat for as many months as you’d like.

6. Have patience.

As a side note, you may even want to have a separate jar that you place a coin in every day, to give to charity when it’s full. I’ve been doing this since the beginning of the year and its shifted so much energy for me. Every time I find myself worrying about finances, I place a coin in the jar and then feel so grateful that I have so much money, I even have enough left over to give to others.

Getting back to "planting your seeds," let me know how this goes for you. I’m actually going to try it myself now, since this plan formed as I wrote it, so I’ll be experimenting along with you. Remember, “A little goes a long way,” and “Patience is key.” And while I’m quoting aphorisms, I may as well conclude with Lao Tzu, “A journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step.”
